I can't believe it's a year since I started blogging! Not long after I started quilting, I decided to join this amazing community of quilters. Being part of this wonderful group of talented and creative people is the best part of blogging. It also gave me some sense of structure and deadline (WIP Wednesday! Thank you Lee!).
Most of all I love your comments. Getting feedback is so great! I can't over estimate it. Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement, advice and support.
Taking stock of the last year I realize that I was not as productive as I would like, but I'm very proud of each one of my works, including my last quilt top - the kaleidoscope quilt, and it all made me very happy.
I want to thank you for following my blog, reading and commenting, so I decided on a small giveaway. These are fabrics I bought lately, I really love them, and I want to share them with you.
I'm giving 6 fat quarters of Echo by Lotta Jansdotter, these are beautiful fabrics with great design.
This is a friendship giveaway, for my followers. You can join by clicking "join this site" on the right.
- To enter the giveaway leave a comment (if you are a new follower, tell me) and tell me something happy that happened to you this winter (or summer - for you in the South).
- For a second entry blog/facebook/google+ /twitter about this giveaway, and tell me about it in a second comment.
The giveaway will be open till Sunday 1/4/12, the winner will be picked randomly and announced in this blog and by email (make sure your email is available).
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteFollower; I have some of the Echo "trees" but none of the other patterns, so thanks for chance to win! As a Southerner, "summer" in the south is about right ;>) Nothing too exciting this past season but that's okay b/c the previous year I was recovering from a broken leg so sometimes nothing too exciting is a good thing!
ReplyDeleteI am a happy follower! We tend to hybernate in the winter so not much happens, but I suppose the happiest thing is my old dog is still with us..... 19 years old on 9th April, fingers crossed!! Thanks for the giveaway. Hugs

ReplyDeleteI am a happy follower -- something HAPPY that happened to me this winter was that my pre-schooler can now hear. He has Down Syndrome, and hearing is an issue for him. We finally put the right tubes in his ears and now he even tells me that I'm too loud. Hope he can hear me yelling for him when we're at the water park this summer. We have such a fun summer planned! Thanks for the chance to win some beautiful fabric!

ReplyDeleteI love your quilt. This past winter a new grandson was added to our growing family. Mazal tov on your anniversary, from Israel Renee
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and I saw a tweet about you and your giveaway. I'm a quilter and so happy I found you! One great thing this past winter was I got to spend a few visits with my grandson. My son who is a USMarine is stationed about seven hours from us. Close enough to drive to but not close enough for a day trip. I was so happy that I was able to go down several times and stayed like two weeks each time. My daughter-in-law is the best. It was great getting to know her better as well as help with my grandson. It was so awesome to see my wonderful son as a husband, father and a proud member of our military.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your giveaway and a chance to win some beautiful fabric.

ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower of your blog. A happy thing that happened to me this winter was the chance to spend time with faraway friends.
